The Rain has Come to Play Again in the 2025 Supercross Season.

The rain has come to play again in the 2025 supercross season. There will be no riding on press day in Pittsburgh, and some rain is scheduled for tomorrow, but it looks like it may be dry on Saturday night. That said, will a softer track tomorrow night be Cooper Webb’s best chance of a win, with free practice cancelled again due to weather?

Chase Sexton and his whoop speed may come into play at the final two, usually hard pack rounds in Colorado and then Salt Lake City, so this may be Webb’s chance to get the one win he needs, provided he gets second in the final two rounds. If Sexton wins the final three, he is the champ even if Webb gets second every time.

Webb needs this to ease the pressure because after Sexton’s domination next weekend, he has the momentum in the championship and, as Jeff Emig says, he would take momentum over a points lead every time in the run in.
